If you're a fan of this band and you're really interested in their history I highly recommend this book. The author presents more detailed description of Metallica, you can actually feel that Mclver must have spent a huge amount of time to collect all those materials. This is a great plus as a reader can learn new, unknown info about the band and how they succeed. However, it is not a cover-to-cover book. I don't see eye to eye with some author's interpretations and thought. But still it isn't bad.
